Desktop software
For work that has to happen on the machine — offline, on hardware, or at data sizes a browser won't take.
Not everything belongs in a browser. A point of sale that must work without internet, a tool wired to a scale or barcode scanner, software chewing through multi-gigabyte files — these are simpler, faster and more stable on the desktop.
NEMO desktop software runs on a local database and syncs with a central server whenever the network is available, so a dropped connection doesn't stop the work.
- Windows installer (macOS and Linux where needed)
- Automatic updates
- Local database and sync logic
- User documentation
- 01Internal software for processes no off-the-shelf product covers
- 02Point of sale and branch software that works offline
- 03Data processing and reporting tools
- 04Hardware integration: scanners, scales, label printers, cash drawers
- 05Two-way sync with a central server
- 06Installers and automatic updates
- What happens when the connection drops?
- Work continues. Data is written locally and syncs once the network returns. The conflict resolution policy is agreed up front.
- Can we have a web version of the same software?
- Yes, and it's usually what we recommend: one backend, two interfaces. Managers pull reports on the web while branches run the desktop client.
